Final Piece

For my album cover I decided to scan in a leaf and I scanned it in with a 300dpi so i could get all the detail so when I photoshoped the image I would be able to zoom in and sstill be able to see all the detail and makeshure that the image wont blure, also I dident want an image biger than A4 if I print it but it is good enouth for a web baced file. My final piece was saved as a JPEG because the quality was good.

To create the image I took the image of the leaf that I scanned in and changed the levels and curves to give the image a black background.

I like how chaninging the levels made the green tone of the leaves become more vibrant to how the leaf was when I scanned it in.

To cretea my final piece I got a photo of the Galxy and it was edited by making the leaf have a purple galixy effect.

I like the image of the leaf, to create it i go the leaf that I scanned in and put it into photoshop, this then allowed me to change the image by changing the levils and curves. The taking a Galixy photo from google the leaf whent over the image, and then by manipulating the image you can see the galixy to make it shine through to give the effect that I have. Fot the text I made it white so it is eaiser to see what it said. I also wanted it to have a simple font because I dident want it to be to overpowering because of how bold the leaf is. I like the effect that is on the leaf becuse it make the image more eye catching.

For the back of my album I decieded to keep it the same as the frout cover but I put where the diffrent song titles would be down the left and right hand side so that they would be visible on the black and you can also see what the songs would be, on the outher hand I think that it would be better if the words theat cover the leaf would be a diffrent colour but I think that having diffrent colours for eatch song would make the back of the CD cover seem less profeshinal.

For the cover image of the CD I used the leaf that had been previousley photshoped and has been used fot what would be the album cover forunt and back. I dont think that this is sucessful because I would have liked the leaf to be in a diffrent place and if I had more time I would have made it look better. The leaf itself seems to be more vibrant than the outher copies of the leaf. I also dont like how the writing fits on the cover because it looks like it doseent belong there. I think that if I had more experience with photoshop i would have been able to have made a more sucessful ablum and CD cover.
